The Continents and Regions in Communal

Overview

Throughout the history of Communal, there have been many different events, histories, or upbringings of certain creatures. There are 4-7 main continents and 16 regions that are typically used to simplify naming locations. Regions are purely designated by convention, while continents can be named by convention or by criteria. Due to the nature of the definition of regions and continents, many nations can be a part of multiple regions, or the number of continents can change. Examples of these merged continents include Afro-Eurasia ([[Africa]], [[Europe]], and [[Asia]]), Eurasia (Europe and Asia), and the Americas ([[North America]] and [[South America]]). Regions can also be affected by this; certain nations can be considered a part of one religion by one source, but another source may say the same nation is in another region. This could show itself as Afghanistan being considered a part of [[South Asia]] or [[Southwest Asia]], or Chad being added to North Africa. Due to these differing classifications, this page will be treating each nation if it was apart of the region it is mostly located in.
